Mentorship, Support
& Opportunity for All

The Huddle Outreach was created to provide mentorship, support, and opportunity for youth and families in our community. We believe every child deserves guidance, encouragement, and positive leadership to help them discover their purpose and reach their full potential.

Through faith-based mentorship, sports development, and life skills training, we help youth grow into confident leaders in their homes, schools, and communities. Our mission is to strengthen families, build character, and create lasting transformation through mentorship and discipleship.

All of our programs are open to the public and available to every youth and family regardless of faith background.

Each program develops the whole person — building confidence, character, and community both on and off the court.

Program 01

Mentorship & Sports Development

Structured sports training and mentorship programs that teach discipline, teamwork, accountability, and leadership. These programs build confidence and develop strong character both on and off the court.

Our mentorship model helps youth understand their value, identity, and purpose through Biblical principles and discipleship. Open to all youth regardless of religious background.

Scholarship Opportunities

Access for Every Youth,
Regardless of Financial Need

The Huddle Outreach provides financial assistance scholarships that allow youth to access athletic training, mentorship, and leadership development through partnerships with Trinity Sports & Athletics.

Our goal is to ensure that financial limitations never prevent youth from receiving life-changing opportunities. We are actively working to expand scholarship access as our organization grows.

Scholarship Program

Full and partial financial assistance for youth who cannot afford program participation fees. Every qualified applicant receives access to mentorship, sports development, and leadership training.

Family Development Programs

Equipping the Whole Family

The Huddle Outreach provides family-centered classes that equip parents and youth with practical life skills including budgeting, meal planning, cooking, and leadership development.

By strengthening families, we help create stable, supportive environments where youth can thrive. Our family programming recognizes that lasting change requires investment in the entire family unit.

Carter Clerveaux is a husband, father, former professional athlete, and entrepreneur who founded The Huddle Outreach after declining an NBA G League tryout opportunity to answer a calling to mentor the youth of Northeast Arkansas. Drawing on his experience as a professional athlete and business owner, Carter leads with a mission to build strong leaders through faith-based mentorship, sports development, and real-world life skills training. His vision is simple and unwavering: every young person in Northeast Arkansas deserves a mentor, a safe space, and a community that believes in their future.

Taylor Clerveaux is a wife, mother, mentor, and co-founder of The Huddle Outreach whose passion lies in equipping families with the practical and spiritual tools they need to thrive. From cooking and gardening to entrepreneurship and finding identity in Christ, Taylor brings a warm, holistic approach to family development that anchors The Huddle Outreach’s community programming. Her vision is that no family in Northeast Arkansas should feel alone, ill-equipped, or without hope.

Montel Smith is a husband, father, and devoted follower of Christ who brings a genuine passion for community transformation to his role on the Board of Directors. A proven advocate for meaningful change, Montel has dedicated himself to identifying practical solutions to community challenges and seeing them through to implementation. His hands-on experience supporting nonprofit program growth gives The Huddle Outreach valuable organizational insight and a track record of real impact — having personally walked alongside many young adults as they navigated pivotal seasons of life.

Micah Walker is a husband, father, and Senior Pastor whose life and ministry are marked by a sincere love for people and an unwavering commitment to seeing them cared for, equipped, and empowered to walk in their full potential. As a Senior Pastor, Micah brings spiritual grounding, community trust, and a shepherd’s heart to his role on the Board of Directors. He understands firsthand the deep needs that exist within families and communities — and he is passionate about connecting people to the resources, relationships, and support systems that help them thrive.
